Custom Sliding Door.
One door. Built, not bought.
Most doors in a house are products. Pulled off a shelf, fitted to an opening, painted to blend in. This one is a piece — designed, drawn, fabricated, and finished by hand as part of a larger powder room project where the off-the-shelf option simply couldn't hold its own against the rest of the room.
The slab is a painted wood core dressed in white oak slats, with a soundproofed interior for a true solid-door feel — when it closes, it closes. Matte black track disappears into the ceiling. Integrated LED lighting runs through the door and its flanking side panels, dimmable and switchable between four color modes, all controlled from a panel concealed behind the door frame.
The full story of the room it lives in is here.
